Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made from Synio Ltd through our website and other direct sales channels. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. About Us

Synio Ltd is a UK registered company that designs and supplies engineering and consumer products, including STOVEJET®.

References in these terms to “Synio”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean Synio Ltd.

2. Placing an Order

By placing an order with Synio Ltd, you confirm that:

you are legally capable of entering into a contract;
the information you provide is accurate and complete; and
you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

After placing an order, you will normally receive an order confirmation by email.

A contract between you and Synio Ltd is formed when we accept your order.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred, payment has not been authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

3. Products

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and prices are accurate.

Minor differences in colour, finish, dimensions or appearance may occur as a result of manufacturing processes, materials or ongoing product development, provided these do not materially affect the product's intended function or your statutory rights.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights where goods are faulty, not as described, or otherwise fail to meet the requirements of UK consumer law.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise.

The price payable is the price displayed when the order is placed, together with any applicable delivery charges shown during checkout.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

5. Delivery

We will deliver products to the address provided when the order is placed.

Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you, we will deliver goods within the period required by applicable UK consumer law.

Please contact us if an order has not arrived within the expected delivery period.

6. Risk and Ownership

Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a person identified by you to receive them.

Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received full payment.

7. Cancellation and Returns

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you will normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason, subject to any exceptions provided by law.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must clearly inform us of your decision within the applicable cancellation period.

After notifying us, you must return the goods without undue delay and normally within 14 days.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or we agree otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them.

You should take reasonable care of products while they are in your possession. We may make a deduction from a refund where the value of goods has been reduced because they have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

8. Refunds

Where you validly cancel an order, we will refund the amount due in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.

Where applicable, the refund will include the cost of our standard delivery option. Additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method do not have to be refunded.

We may withhold a refund until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that they have been returned, where permitted by law.

9. Faulty or Damaged Goods

All products supplied by Synio Ltd must meet your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including requirements relating to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and conformity with their description.

If you believe a product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order details and a description of the problem.

Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, the appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.

10. Product Use and Safety

Products must be used in accordance with the instructions, warnings and operating limits supplied with the product.

You are responsible for ensuring that a product is suitable for your intended application and that it is used safely.

Products must not be modified or operated outside their stated specifications unless expressly approved by Synio Ltd.

Where a product is used with a stove, heating appliance or other heat source, all instructions and safety requirements supplied by the appliance manufacturer must also be followed.

11. STOVEJET® Products

STOVEJET® is a heat-powered stove fan intended to redistribute heat from a suitable stove surface into the surrounding room.

The operating temperature range and installation requirements specified in the instructions supplied with the particular STOVEJET® model must be followed.

The product must not be exposed to temperatures exceeding its specified maximum operating temperature.

Allow the product to cool fully before handling or moving it.

Keep children, pets and objects away from moving components and hot surfaces.

STOVEJET® does not replace appropriate stove installation, ventilation, chimney maintenance, carbon-monoxide detection or normal fire-safety precautions.

12. Misuse and Modification

Synio Ltd is not responsible for loss or damage caused by:

misuse of a product;
operation outside its stated specifications;
exposure to excessive temperatures;
unauthorised modification;
use of unsuitable or non-approved replacement components; or
failure to follow the supplied instructions and safety warnings.

This clause does not exclude or restrict liability where doing so would be unlawful.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

For consumers, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Synio Ltd will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into or for business losses arising from products purchased primarily for personal or domestic use, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

14. Intellectual Property

All Synio product designs, branding, photographs, graphics, website content and other intellectual property remain the property of Synio Ltd or their respective rights holders.

STOVEJET® is a registered trade mark.

Nothing in the purchase of a product transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights relating to that product.

15. Privacy

Personal information supplied when placing an order will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection law.

Information may be shared with payment providers, delivery companies and other service providers where necessary to process and fulfil your order.

16. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where such an event materially affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to inform you and minimise disruption.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The terms applicable to your purchase will normally be those in force when you placed your order.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom.

If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights regarding the courts and laws applicable where you live.
